Jenny Pope brings together a collection of sculptures and drawings, which stem from a personal exploration of uncertainty, whether it is the reassuring collecting of objects or being in a confined space.
New sculptures and drawings explore the idea of personal space and the dynamic between security and containment. Large hanging drawings are shown alongside textile structures. They are partly a response to working in a psychiatric hospital as well as a personal exploration of curved corners and comfortable space.
A reconfiguration of a number of object installations made over recent years. They all explore the process of making in series, creating collections, taxonomy and the relationships between objects when viewed together.
