Continuing to explore and experiment with a range of materials, I am producing a series of 2D sculptural drawings on paper.

I have been pouring, splashing, washing, crumpling and drawing. I have used ink, beeswax, household paint, shellac, polish, bleach and oilbar. I laminate maps, architectural drawings, dressmaking patterns and tissue paper.

I am in bare feet, sitting, lying or standing on the paper, delineating the space around me.

The results are a series of hanging drawings, studies for future 3D forms and are already being constructed as maquettes.

The first of these will be exhibited at the Leith School of Art end of year 23rd to 26th June.
